With saved searches, you don’t have to re-search and re-filter every time. You preserve your criteria and can view results with one click — perfect for ad-hoc searches alongside your fixed search profiles (TenderDNA).

  1. Run a search with your desired terms and filters
  2. Click on the bookmark icon (⚃) next to the search bar
  3. Give the search a recognizable name
  4. Optionally: toggle Alert to receive notifications
  5. Click on Save
💡 **Tip:** Use descriptive names like "ICT Utrecht >€100k" instead of "Search 1".

Viewing Saved Searches

You can find your saved searches in two places:

Click in the search bar to see your recent and saved searches.

Via the Menu

Go to My TenderWolf → Saved Searches for a complete overview.

  1. Go to Saved Searches
  2. Click on the gear icon next to the search
  3. Modify the name, filters, search operators, or alert settings
  4. Click on Save

Note: If you run a search and then change filters, they won’t be automatically saved. You must explicitly update the search.

  1. Go to Saved Searches
  2. Click on the trash icon
  3. Confirm the deletion

Every saved search can have an alert:

  1. Open the search settings
  2. Toggle Alert on
  3. Choose the frequency:
    • Immediate
    • Daily
    • Weekly
  4. Save

You’ll now automatically receive notifications whenever new tenders match this search.

Advanced Searches: Search Operators

TenderWolf supports search operators for much more precise searching:

AND / &&

Both words must be present

software AND implementation
software && implementation

Finds all tenders with both “software” and “implementation”.

OR / ||

At least one of the words must be present

nurse OR hospital assistant
nurse || hospital assistant

Finds tenders with “nurse” or “hospital assistant”.

Space (Implicit OR)

nurse hospital assistant

Works the same as OR — at least one must be present.

Y NO

Excludes specific words

software AND NOT hardware

Finds “software” but not “hardware”.

Phrase Queries (Exact, But Fuzzy)

«Big Data»

The words must appear together and in that order, but still fuzzy (so “big datas” will also match).

Literal Search (Not Fuzzy)

identity cards*

The asterisk excludes fuzzy search. This finds exactly “identity cards” but not “identity card” or “identity documents”.

Note: The asterisk must be at the end, not after parentheses.

Combining with Parentheses

(coffee AND ground) OR (tea AND loose AND NOT bags)

Creates more complex searches for precision.

Creating Smart Searches

By Sector

Create a search per area of expertise:

  • «Desarrollo de software NL»
  • “IT consultancy Belgium”
  • “Cloud infrastructure EU”

By Type of Contract

  • “Framework agreements ICT”
  • “One-time contracts >€500k”

By Contracting Authority

  • “City of Amsterdam IT”
  • “National government construction”

Best Practices

  1. Organize with clear names — Find what you’re looking for quickly
  2. Review monthly — Remove searches you no longer use
  3. Combine with shortlist — Save interesting results to your shortlist
  4. Use alerts smartly — Not every search needs an alert
